Mr. Rick Hughes, owner, manager and Head instructor, has over 38 years experience, was one of Ed Parker's students for over 10 years until Ed’s untimely death in 1990, and propagates the Parker Kenpo legacy in Loveland Colorado. Loveland Kenpo Karate is a school where classes are small and individual attention is the rule rather than the acception. Loveland Kenpo Karate School is NOT a belt factory where you can do poorly during a test and still receive a promotion in rank, as long as you show up and pay the testing fee... here you will earn all your promotions with commitment to attending classes regularly, understanding the curriculum, developing your skill levels, practicing at home, and becoming the best Kenpo artist possible for you. The programs here are not based on the same old pricing structure used by most of the other martial arts schools and gyms in the area. We utilize a unique and very fair offer, that's affordable and competitive. Our courses range from the 12-week 'Intro' course to the 48-week 'Advanced' course, and very reasonable financing can be arranged. Our intructors are experienced Black Belts, trained by Mr. Hughes…NOT lower belt students who teach for the convenience of the Head instructor.
